Hi, my name is Kristian!

Born and raised in Fredrikstad, I started photographing like so many before me—by buying my first DSLR camera with the money I received for my confirmation.

From the very beginning, my passion took off, and before long, my first paid job appeared. I was tasked with taking photos for a technical brochure about financial support in agriculture. Then came music festivals. Then family photos. Then weddings. The assignments have been many and diverse, but they all share one thing: I get to express my creativity by highlighting what I find beautiful. Whether it’s a field ready for harvest, a vocalist pouring their soul into a song, or the gaze shared between two newlyweds, each moment is a story waiting to be captured.

Those around me say I’m easy to talk to and that I have a way of making people feel comfortable. I hope that’s true—because it makes a huge difference when you’re aiming to capture great photos.

Since 2014, I have been running Ringen Media alongside other work. But in 2024, ten years after taking my first big step, I took the next one—I left my day job to fully dedicate myself to my own business.

Photography, sound, lighting—everything that can elevate any event to a whole new level.
